- How To Clean Your Make Up Brushes
Run the brushes under a tap of warm water (not boiling hot!) and then put a dap of shampoo on the palm of your hand.
Rub the brushes in the shampoo and then rinse under warm water once more, squeezing the excess water with your fingers (if water still dirty, repeat the process).
With paper towel, dry the bristles and shape them in the desired form
(Same goes for your eyelash curler!)
- Applying Concealer
For a lasting and more effective concealer, apply the concealer in a triangle figure, in a downward motion rather than crossways.
Starting in the inner eye, apply downward close to the nose and as you move along to the outer of your eye, shorten the length as you go.
- The proper way to use dry shampoo
Apply before bed – this way the shampoo can really move around and you’ll wake up with more volume in the morning!
- Turning eyeliner pencils into a thick gel
Hold the eyeliner pencil into the flame of a lighter for no longer than 5seconds
Let the eyeliner cool for roughly 10-15seconds and then use along your eye for a thick, dense, perfect charcoal effect!
- Exfoliate your skin
This is important to make sure your skin is kept clear and fresh.
Limit this to 2-3 a week max – you don’t want to do it everyday otherwise your skin will go dry.
Remember – gentle scrubs for your face and coarser scrubs for the rest of your body.
