Keeping your beauty regime whilst on holiday or traveling from city to city for work can be difficult at times. With the ranging humidity’s, temperatures and weather in general disrupting your skins regular environment.
It’s important to maintain as much as possible, your regular skin treatments and use the same products as to not disrupt its usual processes. More often than not, using different products which your skin is not used to can sometimes cause your skin to appear oilier than usual or break out.
- Moisturise, moisturise, moisturise. Especially on planes. The air in the plane dries out your skin at a faster pace than any other form of transport. So it is essential that whilst traveling on your carry on you have hand cream, moisturiser and a trusted lip product. You’ll notice all the difference – your skin wont crack or feel dry.
- Wear as little make up as possible.
No mascara! It can clog up your pores around your eyes, and more than likely you’re going to nod off to sleep and wake with smudged mascara. Totally not worth it.
- Take your regular cleansing products from home.
This will help maintain some sort of regularity for your skin. Take your trusted products from home – f you swap and change it is more likely that your skin will break out.
- Dry shampoo and leave in conditioner is your best friend.
Again, when traveling your hair (depending on the varying humidity/temp etc) is more susceptible to change. It may become oilier or more bristle than your used to. Dry shampoo and leave in conditioner are your best friends. Sometimes you have to fake it to make it.
